Summer Projects
Okay, so instead of trip pictures right here, you're going to get something different. (Since this is what happened instead of me going overseas...just yet).

Demolition: Stage One

Demolition: Stage One A

Demolition: Stage Two

Demolition: Stage Four
(I think I skipped a couple stages, cuz I was all excited at how much fun it was to yank up those planks and hear them give way - and yes, although I counted myself as only .25 of a worker, I WAS doing some of it, people!) ...isn't that fun? I mean, you walk out my kitchen and you DROP 8 feet.

You guys probably saw this guy stuffing lettuce in his face in one of the last posts. I counted him as a 1.75 in the tally of employees on this project. (And for project barter, I will be taking his lovely daughter on an intrepid voyage overseas...destination unknown as of yet - though, of course, I have ideas).

Here's my other 1.25 staff member. Invaluable, to say the least. She knows her way around a power tool, that's for sure!

There were a few others involved, who aren't pictured here, but I can tell you that I am surrounded by a village for which I am very grateful! I'm thrilled with the smell of cedar as I leave my kitchen. It's also really nice that I don't plummet to the cement below as I do!

Here's our Site Supervisor. I think she's more interested in getting the grill going...(Which, of course, we did).

Well, hasn't this been fun? Now I need to design the railing...stay tuned!
